The property manager, Julia, and the jack of all trades chef, Louis, are wonderful hosts! As my first impression of the country, they were terrific ambassadors. They were thoughtful, hospitable, patient, and punctual during my short stay. The food was delicious and can’t be beat in taste or price. I was in the mixed dormitory where everyone was an eclectic mix of nationalities and ages - not at all the stereotypical party backpacker vibe one may associate with a hostel. Julia and Louis consciously fostered an engaging community where travelers and make connections and leave with more knowledge about the world - plus another friend! I felt very well looked after as a solo female traveler and would 100% recommend.

The entire staff was kind, courteous and helpful, always. The meals were excellent and affordable. Highly recommend!

An unexpected and last minute stay, due to the ferries being cancelled but the staff really did their best to accommodate. Clean and good facilities. Complimentary coffee, which is always a bonus.

Fantastic location for us in a very quiet and safe area. Great to walk the dogs early in the morning. Everything was provided for us including a delicious home made pizza on our arrival The owners could not have done anything more for us. Very helpful and friendly.

The people! Our room was really big and comfortable. Nice meals. Not a la carte, whatever the chef is preparing. Close to the ocean and we saw a dolphin!
