It was nice to stay in an apartment so that we could go shopping and make whatever meals we wanted to at home. The washing machine and drying rack were great. The place was beautifully styled. It is also right across the street from Ipanema Beach.
It was a clean, comfortable apartment in a great location. You can just cross the road and go to the Ipanema Beach. Other than the beach it is close to bars, restaurants, and markets.
Excellent location, right by the beach, very close to public transportation, restaurants, shops etc. The location was very safe and the place had everything the you needed, nice comfortable space. The property has a guard/doorman 24 hours and they are very friendly and helpfull. It is on the 5th floor and the elevator goes only to 4th but it is not a big deal to carry the lagguage just one level. The elevators were working fine, no complains. It's true that there is no view of the beach, the windows face inside courtyard, but being on the 5th floor (last), the apartment is very bright. The bedroom is a bit tight, I would agree that the bed would be too small for anybody over 6 ft tool, but otherwise it is fine (large closet and bed is comfortable). Anybody that complained about only one set of towels - there is a washer/dryer that works grea! You can do a quick loundry.
