Very nice property and the staffing was so nice, specially Julia and Matthew!!

Rooms and beds were fantastic. Comfy with curtains for every bed. Storage and each bed had multiple power connections. 2 showers and 2 toilets in the room of 8 people was amazing. Both in good condition. Building was beautiful

Room is clean and location is convenient which is close to the tram station to the Christ Redeemer and the breakfast is amazing.

Clean and comfortable lodging with very helpful staff, no fewer than 3 pools and a nice array of party themes (with on-site parties ending by 9 PM). Moreover, the Beco do Boticario and hostel buildings comprise a unique historic location at the original Rio Carioca, around which the city was built. This I learned during a very pleasant walk guided by the inimitable Lucy (of @riobylu, recommended by the hostel) - a solid introduction to the origins of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, and to the stories of the Cosme Velho and Laranjeiras areas. Incidentally, she can also fast-track you through the lines for the train to Christ the Redeemer. :)

The hostel vibe is really cool, we loved staying at the private room and the external areas and landscaping are refreshing and calm .
