I had a very pleasure staying at Oceano Cooacabana Hotel.
The location is absolutely fabulous. You just need to cross the Atlantica Av, and you're stepping into the famous Copacabana sand beach.
Great views from the top of the building.
The staff is also the best in this accommodation. The 2 girls at the reception were very helpful and nice... a great first impression ( I'm so sorry for not mentioning their names as I can't remember, but I'm sure they know who they are). Mrs Graca from the breakfast room is super nice and a super polite lady.
Some points for improvements:
- WiFi is not reaching the rooms.
- Only one lift was working on the 1st day, which caused some issues, but it was fixed on the following day, and it was grand
- The hotel needs to change the towels... there are very old.
The hotel itself is old-fashioned but it has its charm. However, it needs some updates to improve its standards and to match its location and staff quality.
