The staff was very nice and helpful. You could book tours in Lencois Maranheses.

The property is in a walking distance from the city centre. The breakfast is good. And the staff are just the best! They kept our luggage and allowed us to check in later which gave us the opportunity to enjoy a whole day tour. They also supported us finding a transfer to airport when the one we had booked never showed up.

Joao was great and helped us a lot to organize everything before we even got there. He helped us get bus tickets from Sao Luis, booking a tour the next day and a private transfer back to the airport in the evening. They let us store our luggage and even take a shower after the check out.

The staff at Pousada BG lencois were all so kind and helpful, especially Joao! we had a great stay for 4 nights. the bed was one of the comfiest beds were slept on during our two week trip across Northern Brazil. The rooms were minimal, but had everything we needed including air con, and a clean bathroom. (the shower was hot during the day time, but in the evening it seemed to not work as well) they also offer laundry service with a turn around time of a few hours. location wise, it was a 7 minute walk from the main part of town. very quiet and safe area, we never had problems walking back in the evening or any issue with noise. special thank you to Joao who helped us organize a transfer to sao luis when we struggled to find one last minute. 10/ 10 experience!
