I travelled to Buzios with my parents and we LOVED staying in this Pousada. The staff is super nice, they made sure we were having a good time and that we were comfortable every single day. They also gave us a lot of information regarding what to visit taking into account what we wanted to do.
The place is full of trees and nature, we even got to see some little monkeys from afar. The location is good, but it is high so you have to walk up some blocks whenever you go back after going for a walk. However, Uber is very cheap, so that was not an issue.
Breakfast is amazing, they always serve different fruits, pão do queijo, bolo and James makes the best omelette ever.

The most exceptional thing about staying here are the lovely owners/hosts, Ana Paula and her husband (sorry, I don't think I caught his name). This was my first time ever in Brazil and Ana Paula was so welcoming, helpful and warm. I also booked this place as I was traveling from London and appreciated that Ana Paula speaks perfect English (since I don't speak Portugese or Spanish myself). The breakfast is wonderful, with freshly made omelette every morning. We also had some of the best sleep ever staying here - it is so peaceful. The pool is lovely too which we got to use in the mornings before going out to the beach. Thank you Ana Paula for making us feel so at home!
Hermoso lugar, rodeado de naturaleza y tranquilo. El desayuno es muy variado, rico y con productos de excelente calidad. Habitaciones limpias con aire acondicionado y tv (excelente funcionamiento). Limpieza, recambio de sabanas y toallas todos los dias. Disfrutamos de la Piscina, hermosa. James, Ana Paula y Patricia hacen que la estadía sea genial con su hospitalidad y buena predisposicion ante cualquier duda, consulta o sugerencia. Cuando volvamos a Buzios, sin duda elegiremos Recanto da Ferradura. Recomendadisimo !!
La atención de Ana Paula y James es excepcional, son muy amorosos y están siempre dispuestos a ayudar, inclusive con cosas externas al alojamiento, como transporte o información de tours y lugares a visitar. Asimismo, Patricia que trabaja en la posada, es súper amable y risueña!!!
Por otra parte, el lugar es muy lindo; está en un sector tranquilo y seguro, la ubicación cerca del centro turístico es ideal y se puede llegar a todas las playas con Uber directo desde la posada.
Finalmente, no podemos dejar de destacar el desayuno, variado y fresco cada mañana!
