The fact that it was on the garden of the owners house meant that we felt very relaxed and the gates were always closed so even if I were there alone I would have felt safe . The shower was good , the bed was comfy.
I would consider it as a hidden gem in Veszprem.
If you are looking for a cozy & tranquil place, it is for you.
Huge advantage to it that is very close to the Old Town of Veszprem, supermarkets, coffee shops are at a 5-10 min walking distance.
Plus the bus stop from which you can get to the train station is also very close, a few minutes walk.
The host was really nice. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Location is perfect for visiting the city center.
This place is fantastic, not only because of the beautiful house and yard, but mostly because of the host Amalia - a delicate, sensitive woman, with attention to every detail and everything you might need. She even wanted to refund us for a noise on the street one morning, which was totally not her fault. The house is placed in a charmig street, beautiful neighbourhood and town. We were in Hungary for a jazz festival and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Would stay there again, if we ever have the chance.
