The property is clean, private, spacious and has more than you need for a self contained stay. The pool is a lovely escape from the heat and was well maintained. There are food shops and sellers within walking distance but you do need a car to get to major shops or the small town. The owner and local staff (lady who lives next door) are helpful and polite despite our bad French and not intrusive.
St Francois has some superb restaurants close to the harbour and seafront but expect to pay Paris prices +. The local people are friendly and helpful and many speak English (well) but some French language will help your stay
The Island isn’t very big but the roads are not great. With a car you can get to anywhere in a day trip and it is worth exploring. Not so many tourist venues but the island has a lot to offer and that is where the local people can help.
La villa était vraiment bien et les propriétaires sont vraiment très sympa..
