Very close to the airport. Definitely a transit hostel.
I had a wonderful stay at Guatefriends. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and they were super prompt getting me to my flight at 4 a.m.
Super close to the airport, the lady happily drove me to the airport at 4am to catch my morning flight. Comfortable beds and on a quiet street. Not the most glamorous hostel but for $20-30 for a quick stay to catch a next-day flight it’s a perfect choice
Super close to airport, very helpful front desk, was able to store my luggage there for a few days for a very small fee. I thought the room would be warm with no a/c but temp was comfortable, ceiling fan worked, everything was very clean, and breakfast in the morning was simple but good. They do sell a few basic necessities there, too, which was very convenient. If you're not looking for something fancy, this was great for the price!
