Wonderful!!! Wish I had stayed two nights. Getting in the pool after visiting Tikal was amazing. Good food at the restaurant.
Everything! Great lodge inside Tikal national park, a walking distance from the park’s highlights. Great restaurants very good cocktails. The lodge provides guided tours of the park in a reasonable price. Prior to the check in date they sent all the relevant information and tips.
The swimming pool was under repair. So when the electricity was turned off (scheduled) no place to cool down
The main lodge is fantastic and the restaurant was very good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
We have stayed at the Jungle Lodge three times now over the past 15 years. It hasn't changed in the best way possible, still clean, still welcoming, still luxury in the jungle. The lack of air conditioning and the management of water and electricity throughout the day is as it should be, we are in the jungle after all, away from the rest of the world and this place should remain as special as it is for the future. It should remain a bit of a quest to get here, that is what makes is special.
