This place had an amazing location right by the water, the dinners were great, and we really enjoyed our stay. It definitely has a backpacker vibe, but if you’re not into it, it’s easy enough to do your own thing. I liked staying in Santa Cruz versus the other cities around the lake because it’s a bit quieter, so this is a great option.

I went to this hostel with my adult kids and husband and we really enjoyed it! I thought the family dinners were great and all the food very good. I enjoyed meeting other travelers. It was a little noisy at night especially the talent show evening but still fun listening to people sing. I'd definitely go back. The town of Santa Cruz is lovely too and you can take a great hike from the hostel.

it's extremely comfortable and beautiful place with nice history of owners. good kitchen, we ate only at hostel, saturday night was asado. that was amazing and portions were big. we had simple room without terrace, likely our windows faced directly to the lake under big tree. right in front of the hostel you can pick the boat.
