Stunning location and amazing finish to all of the inside - it really was top class Matthias was a perfect host

Best place we stayed in Europe. The apartment was even better than the pictures- quality finished throughout. View from balcony and bedrooms was spectacular. Lovely hosts as well. I hope to come back and will be recommending to family and friends

The apartment was a little bit difficult to find at first but when we did find it, our property for the week ahead looked absolutely stunning. The owner, Matthias, was at the door to greet us and give us a tour of the apartment before opening the door onto the balcony which gave a fantastic view of the surrounding Berchtesgaden valley and the beautiful mountains which felt as if you could reach out and touch them. All the rooms were very spacious with high vaulted ceilings and were also well equipped with superior fixtures and fittings, in the evenings there is no noise so a good night’s sleep is possible, a rarity nowadays. For us it was a great place to stay and explore Berchtesgaden and the Obersalzberg and all it has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay here, and if you are also interested in hiking and photography you will really love staying here. Top marks.

The one bedroom apartment we were given was beautifully designed, thoughtfully prepared for us and is one of the best apartments we've ever stayed in. The host was very obliging and left a beer, sparkling water and chocolates for us. The coffee machine was also set up (but we couldn't figure out how to use it properly). The furnishings are unique and the view was stunning. It was an easy walk into the town where we ate twice at the excellent L'Osteria al Parco. The bathroom was particularly good and spacious
