The host was extremely welcoming and helpful! My wife and I had a fantastic time.

Property location was convenient to multiple train options to get around the city. The immediate surrounding area is loaded with restaurants, shopping, nightlife, etc. Hostess Sabine is very accommodating with morning breakfast and ensures that everyone gets a sit down meal with her and other guests. There are two sets of rooms, each sharing a bathroom. Of course you are at the mercy of the cleanliness of the guests in the other room (if there is one), but the cleaning staff always had everything kept spotless.
This hotel is located very central, hence the name. KaDeWe is just around the corner. You can travel to the rest of Berlin in no time. The host Frau Knoll is very friendly and serves a great breakfast. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
Sabine has a beautiful place and she has been doing this for long enough to be really good at it. I was impressed at all the details that she goes to in order to make guests comfortable. (We had our own cabinets in the bathroom, water, roses and chocolates in our room, and she knew it was my 60th birthday so she gifted us with a bottle of sparkling wine!)
The location is fabulous and very close to everything I wanted to see in Berlin. The breakfasts had more than you could want and they were delicious. We had a great conversation with fellow guests over breakfast. I would HIGHLY recommend her place.
