An aged Monarch who is starting to show its age but still a pleasant place to spend a night . Reception was businesslike and efficient. Had small inside room for bicycle storage . Room was adequate in size . Bathroom compact but clean . On-site restaurant had reasonable price point . Breakfast was more than adequate with hot and cold food choices.

Comfortable rooms, original and creative seaside decor, friendly service, good internet, easy access from highway. Good shopping, ample parking, and indoor playground for kids in walking distance.
The maritime flair (something I wouldn't have expected in a place like Alzey) was well-executed throughout. The bed was comfortable, and I even liked the pillows! The breakfast buffet was great (dinner the night before was okay but nothing special). Highly recommended!
