I spent a wonderful week here at the end of April and was sorry to leave. The hosts were charming and very helpful, especially in relation to pick-up and drop-off at Bad Schandau station. The property was immaculate and very spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The hosts had prepared a huge amount of information about local activities, transport, hiking trails etc. and were happy to help with any suggestions. The location is right next to the ferry jetty at Krippen, and a short walk from Krippen S-Bahn station, so it was a great base to explore the area and very relaxing to come back to after a long day walking . Bad Schandau town centre is 15 minutes' walk after you cross the river, along a very scenic riverside path.

We stayed here using it as a base for the Malerweg hike. Staying in Bad Schandau would have been a bit more convenient for that purpose, but this place was fine nonetheless because we had a car and were able to easily get to the hub of Bad Schandau. The apartment was quite spacious. The owner was very friendly and attentive whenever we had any questions or issues.

Die Aussicht ist super, die Unterkunft hervorragend.

Perfecte plek om de omgeving te verkennen. Had vrijwel alles om je eigen gang te gaan als je weer terug kwam van een dag op pad: keukentje met kookplaatje waar je een maaltijd op kunt klaarmaken etc, lekker naar buiten kijken en tv met netflix aansluiting
