The location is convenient to visit the Altena Castle and other nearby places we wanted to go during our trip. By car, it is fairly easy to move around. The rooms are very nice and clean. We liked the kitchen and the living areas a lot. The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to cook. The kids found the place very comfortable. The owners were very affable and helpful. Parking own car was easy too.
Reminded me of my grandmothers house. Loved the original decorations and the clocks.
We had a great time. The owners of the holiday home were very friendly and helpful. Despite the fact that they only speak German and we do not speak that language very well, we still manage to make ourselves clear to each other. The house is fully equipped with everything you can think of. It is also clean and very spacious. It was very nice that there was a washing machine because with a stay of 2 weeks you really need it.
The room, decorated with antiques, was very calming, functional, and comfortable. As a foreigner, it was a wonderful experience for me, as it gave me a glimpse into what life was like at the time.
As I mentioned before, the place was equipped with all the necessary facilities, so I was able to stay there without any inconveniences.
I was also impressed by the owner's personality, and despite being on a business trip, it was a very relaxing stay.
Everything fine. The interior design with a lot of wood and vintage objects is charming. Temperature, kitchen, bed, bathroom ... all good.
