Lahnstein is a great place, interesting in itself, but very close to Koblenz and the Middle Rhine. A really excellent base to explore this beautiful place. Staying in this quiet neighbourhood us an added bonus, giving a feeling of being in the real Germany, not a tourist place.
The apartment was a great find. Beautifully appointed, spacious and well-equipped. We were there as a couple, but it would be great for a family. The kitchen had everything you need to enjoy a stay, especially if you don't want to eat out all the time.
Really comfortable and homely, peaceful, and at the same time a short walk to the town centre and the station.
Air conditioning was a definitive plus because it was very hot outside. Not too far from the railway station and a shop. The owners were very nice even though we had a minor language barrier. Everything you need for a vacation stay.
