The apartment was very spacious and bright and had a good flow. The kitchen was well equipped. The views were great and there is a big terrace, too. It was very clean. The bathroom is very big and modern and has underfloor heating and there is a small extra toilet as well. There were TV sets in every room. The location is great in the northern part of the city center and a 10 minutes walk away from some major grocery stores (Edeka and Aldi - and a Lidl even closer). Everything worked fine with the reservation and the payment. The best restaurant in the city is situated in the ground floor of the building and the Schifffahrtsmuseum is in the neighbouring house. And even if the apartment is separate from the hostel in the same house, the hostel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very tranquil and silent in the house itself, except from the road noise outside. We recommend this appartment.
The apartment was very big, modern and lovely. We travelled as a couple with two adult family members, so we needed the sofa bed as well. I slept alright, my partner wasn't a fan of it but the others found the mattresses a bit to hard in the bedrooms. It is what it is - not home but if you want home you have to stay home. We all had a lovely time - the view from the apartment is stunning - onto the harbour with the lot - including beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
The Old Town was within easy walking distance, supermarkets a bit further away but restaurants near by.
For the central location the whole complex was quiet. The terrace is big and you have a lovely view all around.
The two bedrooms have a TV and there's one in the open lounge/kitchen as well.
The placement of the apartment is absolutely brilliant. The view from the apartment is also very nice.
