Location was terrific!!!! Family owned and you feel the hospitality.
The location was great! It was easy to get to Salzburg as well as Berchtesgaden :) The Salt Mine was only a 4 minute drive away. The room was clean. There was a balcony. The breakfast was great. Lots of rolls, veggies, fruit, meat, and cheese. There is a fridge and a microwave you can use in the basement.
Just returned to Nebraska from spending 5 nights at the Pension Meisl. My wife and I went for our 30th wedding anniversary. We had the time of our lives! What a great place to stay. Clean, spotless rooms, the traditional German breakfast was outstanding. Beds are comfortable, and the little deck our our room looked out to the country side and also could see the Eagles Nest. It is located just outside Berchtesgaden, and a short 40 minute drive to Salzburg Austria. 5 minute walk to the Austrian boarder. Parking right on site, (this is a big deal in this area). You are out in the beautiful country side. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Also priced very reasonable. Auf Wiedersehen!!
Property was very comfortable and in a beautiful location.
We loved everything about this place. We had a large, comfortable space for our family. Everything was immaculate. The hosts were friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. The location was amazing and beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer!
