The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Huge, clean room. It was great to stay in the monumental premises which just fit in with the surroundings. Tip: have a look at the 14th century basement!

Accomodation was perfect, nice and quiet single room, water was perfect, I would strongly recommend the venue . Food was faboulous !! Huge portions and extremely tasty ! Breakfast excellent , with everything you would wish : coffee, eggs, fresh bread, very tasty butter, a selection of salami, white cheese , perfect !!

Very nice rooms (especially those on the upper floor) and a really good restaurant. The staff was kind, there was a lady who spoke English when we arrived who was really helpful, also to let us know what to order at the restaurant (the menu was strictly in German). We paid extra for breakfast, that was also very good.

Lovely old traditional hotel, we had a very spacious clean room, the evening meal was excellent, very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, free parking outside of hotel.

The spot is unbeliveble! It's a 1:1 time travel in the past. Nothing for novaday runners. Old fashion hotel with familiar atmosphere like in the old good times. Here the time slows down literaly. Stylish restaurant, old clock do the job slowly since centuries. Great luxury table setting, candle light, relax. The food is great. Traditional german kitchen. Hearty, honest, organic, cooked by the owner self based on local farmers. That needs time and effort! Chilled, fresh german beer from the barrel. Great choice of world's spirits. The serving lady's warm-hearted, lovely, open for a small talk. Rooms from the 80's, bed superb. Heated floor in bathroom, hot shower, all fresh, steril clean. In the night, by opened window absolutely silence in the village. Good sleep. Breakfest was consequetly the Classic from 80's. Amazing! Exactly like in the times of traveling with my parents! I love it and want to come back, before the owner goes his pension!
