A cozy hotel with atmosphere situated in an old quarter of timbered houses in Halberstadt ; close to the cathedral and revived Jewish sites; very friendly staff & lovely breakfast served in a winter garden ; nice rooms some with balconies facing a court yard
It was very clean and nice staff, helped us to get taxi’s as well when needed. Very nice for families.
Located right in the middle of the beautiful medieval old city, luxurious, comfortable bed, spacious room, beautiful view of a cloister. Beautiful winter garden-breakfast room
Most of the rooms here are arranged around a quiet and elegant central courtyard, so you have the feeling that you're in a little world of your own. My room (the double with balcony) was great - nice decor, quite cosy, and with everything I needed. Check-in was easy and the staff were helpful. When I discovered that the kettle in the room wasn't working, they replaced it for me while I was out, with no fuss.
Since Halberstadt is quite small, everything was walking distance (except the train station).
Great location in the town centre, with its own car park. The room was spacious and furnished in traditional German style, including comfy bed with duvets.
