The staff first. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was close and they took us to another one by car (we are a group of.cyclists and the restaurant was quote fare). Then the rooms: large and confortabile. And last but not least, the breakfast rich as needed by cyclists starting for a long ride. A very pleasant experience!!!
Simple but inexpensive accommodation with good breakfast.
My friends and I spent 2 nights here as we were visiting Colditz Castle which was a short drive away. The rooms were large, well appointed and comfortable. The violent shower was perfect after a long day on the bike.
There was secure, gated parking at the rear of the hotel for motorcycles.
Breakfast was good, room was good, nice beer garden.
Hotel is located on a lovely square. Hotel does not have its own car park but you can park on the square or streets around the hotel. Rooms are above the pub hence some noise is expected. Room was refurbished, spacious and clean, bathroom was clean. Wifi very good. We have not eaten there as we were leaving .4.45h in the morning. Staff very helpful. Stay was value for the money, would stay there again
