Absolutely beautiful location!!! Pure countryside for the ones who like it. Traditional old houses all over the village. Wooden ceiling very well preserved in the breakfast room. Would like to stay here again!

The food at the Hotel Ochsen can only be described as "superb" Although we were "self catering" in one of their apartments, the restaurant provided some great food at reasonable cost. This can be bne out by the number of locals visiting the hotel during the evening, but by 9.30pm all is quiet! Our apartment was well kitted out with good facilities. We would love to revisit and spend more time in the area - some perfect walking countryside. I visited the Hotel Ochsen some 50 years ago and the ambience is still the same. We were proudly informed by the present young manager that he was now the 6th generation looking after the business. Well Done!!!

The hotel is beautiful. And the location is gorgeous. I got a really warm welcome on check-in. The staff are so nice. It was a real pleasure to stay there and would definitely recommend it. And I will definitely be back.
