A perfect place to go out and explore this beautiful part of the world. Exceptionally gracious hosts who provided me a great explanation of a day's hiking trail. I had a wonderful time and hope to return.
Central location. Dinner options very close within walking distance. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly host that provided tips for hiking tours and excursions.

A charming little hotel at the central square of Wehlen, the location couldn't be better, you can find pretty much everything the town has offer just around the corner. The train station is on the other side of the Elbe, but there is an excellent ferry service that gets you over the river in 2 min, there is practically no waiting time as the service is "on demand", and once you get off the ferry, the hotel is just another 2 min walk away.
The hosts are super friendly and helpful, you can see that they love what they are doing. The breakfast had an incredible variety of some really creative homemade marmalades, four days weren't enough for us to try them all. Our room had a spacious bathroom and a large terrace.
