Breakfast and location were wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
We loved our wintertime stay at this hotel in Bayrischzell. The location cannot be beat, 5 minutes walk from the train station, which is a very easy connection from Munich. Our room was warm, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was outstanding, with a plethora of hot and cold items. When we saw the staff (only during breakfast), they were kind and welcoming. The ski bus stops right in front of the hotel, and there are multiple hikes right from the front door. Highly recommend the 20 minutes walk to the waterfall, and the several hours to climb the Wendelstein mountain. We would return to this hotel in a heartbeat.
The room and the view were very nice. The breakfast was hearty.
There was no heating or hot water as it had broken down. We went to bed with our clothes on. No staff on site and no one to call after 10pm when we realised as we arrived late.
The breakfast staff in the morning were very nice and the breakfast was lovely as was the room and balcony and view. Absolutely comfortable just cold and no hot water.
They said they were calling maintenance. It’s a big company that owns a loads of properties called StayFritz.
Also nowhere secure to leave bags while you go walking so we have asked the next door hotel which has a reception.
