Beautifully painted house done by the owners.
Very comfortable bed and room.
The owner lady was very helpful with transportation

This is a very nice guesthouse in a quiet residential area of Bad Doberan some haflway to Althof. We quite unexpectedly got a free upgrade and had an apartment with a large and well-equipped kitchen. Besides, we arrived early but despite this the kind landlady let us have the keys to our apartment without delay. There was everything in the apartment and the bathroom that we needed for a short stay. The wifi was also strong.
Welcoming host, property is located near the train station, good to discover the region.
Breakfast was kindly offered.
I travel alone and found 'a home away from home' at JaNettes Gästehaus. Safe, clean, spacious(!) yet cozy house. A very friendly, hard working, attentive and creative hostess. Her fairly new colourful house offers a good quality, balance in presence, privacy and tranquility. Easy to reach. Free parking space for your bicycle next to the house or for your car on the road. I stayed at JaNettes during the Zappanale. It was nice to be able to have a chat with other guests that went there as well. My spacious (single)room was very comfortable and clean. Good quality bed too, with cozy bedding. The shared bathroom was super clean and has the best shower. The breakfast in the breakfastroom is extensive, prepared with care and with good coffee. It was very pleasant and relaxing to be a guest at JaNettes Gästhaus, to feel welcome and as comfortable as a friend or resident of Bad Doberan for a couple of days. I'll be back.
Friendly place and people, and some English spoken. The room was OK in size and brand new. Wifi worked well and shared bathroom was as expected. Breakfast was very good value.
