Our stay at the Landhotel Gruber was so perfect, and I cannot wait to go back! I felt like I was staying with an old friend. Evi was memorable, she was a warm and gracious hostess.
Nice location above the valley, very clean hotel, great staff, "home" feeling.
Ideally situated on the Goldstein. Very friendly ladies and good local food at value for money prices. Large room with balcony in rural village so peaceful and quiet.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hikers even get a free footbath and their clothes washed, if needed. The room was modern yet comfortable, with a beautiful valley view from the balcony. The food is good, but especially the large array of breakfast options incl. freshly made egg dishes were lovely to start the next hike. The location is also directly at the Goldsteig trail. Fair price. This has been the place that's been the most accomodating to long-distance hikers on my entire trip thus far!
This was really amazing stay during my bike travel. Although I speak German very poorly (I can order beer or dinner), I feel very welcomed here. Very good breakfast, nice views from balcony, very calm place for the rest.
