This was my first stay after the change to the new apartment format. Hotel Mathildenhöhe has been one of my favorite accommodations in Darmstadt. The location is good for walking to downtown on the lovely back backroads and alleyways, as well as walking in the extensive parks nearby. Having parking is a big plus and the grounds surrounding the property are very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was very stylish, clean and quiet and although it was perhaps a bit of a walk from the centre of Darmstadt, there was an excellent bus service with stops nearby. Also very close at hand were a super beer garden and one of the city’s main attractions, Mathildenhöhe, an area of beautiful, interesting buildings and open spaces. We’d definitely recommend the apartments to anyone wanting to explore the local area.
Die Lage ist super, wenn man die Mathildenhöhe erkunden will. In wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß dort. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon zum Garten hin und konnten dort gut sitzen und uns entspannen.
