What a great find. This large apartment is designed with great taste and considerable expense - like a showroom for vintage furniture, but very liveable, comfortable and lacking absolutely nothing. You really want this to be yours for more than just the few days you have in the area. The wifi works perfect (still not the standard in too many hotels and holiday apartments in Germany). The kitchen is fully equipped and supermarkets, the train station and good restaurants in Detmold's beautiful old town only a few minutes walk away. Parking is included on the large parking lot in the back of the building.

Makers + rooms apartments is an accommodation that stands out for its design and functionality, and it is the most beautiful apartment we have ever been to (and we travel a lot). The location in the very center is fantastic, but what sets this apartment apart from others is the combination of aesthetic feeling that it provides and functionality, combined to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The perfect sense of interior design, as well as the kindness and dedication of two wonderful ladies, Tanja and Alex, will make your stay in Detmold perfect and unforgettable.
