The apartment is within walking distance of everything from the bus station, a variety of shops and restaurants, and the Nebelhornbahn. The view of the snow-capped mountains in the morning from the balcony could not have been any better.
Since I traveled to Oberstdorf right after work from Frankfurt, the key pick up was coordinated due to my later arrival. The property manager lived en route to the apartment, so it was no inconvenience at all. She went over everything I needed to know about the apartment and the immediate area and to my surprise she informed me that check-out was at anytime I wanted to leave. And she made herself available on WhatsApp, which was really kind of her to do.
