The location was great. The host was very helpful. It was a great apartment.

We were three people, one couple and a single and we stayed in the smaller, 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment is spacious, quaint, quite comfortable and very clean. Looks just as it is shown in the photos. Cornelia, the host, was friendly and helpful.

The property was quaint, cute, comfortable but also had modern conveniences.

Tastefully furnished and very clean and comfortable apartment (we stayed in Apfelgruen). Everything was accessible by foot and the closest bakery - Aurhammer - was a 3 min walk. For families with younger kids, there is a playground within a 2 minute walk, just behind the "Maxbraeu" property. The kitchen had a stove and dishwasher. The hostess Cornelia provides you with a link to their website/ app prior to arrival that allows you to register and also informs you about things to do in the area, nearby businesses etc. Cornelia was super-friendly and on top of things. Since on-site parking is limited, you receive an "Anwohnerparkausweis"/residential parking permit, which allows you to park nearly everywhere close to the property but also in downtown Oberammergau.

The apartments were perfect. We had 8 adult siblings and the door between apartments could be left open so we could go back and forth. The owner is so kind and helpful and takes great pride in this property. The views are amazing as the property is nestled in the foothills of the Alps. There is so much to do and see nearby. We rented a large van and did day trips and saw so many historic sites and cities. Restaurants and bakeries are within walking distance. Just perfect?
