Set in a 1000-year old castle, this elegant hotel enjoys a quiet setting in Beichlingen. It offers a spacious garden and terrace and bright rooms with free WiFi access. Schloss Beichlingen features individually decorated rooms with high-quality, antique-style furnishings. Each is complete with a TV, CD player and a modern bathroom. Each morning, a rich breakfast is served in Schloss Beichlingen’s inviting dining room. Visitors can spend the day exploring the castle’s historic grounds. Younger guests are welcome to play in the on-site children’s playground. A shuttle service from Leipzig/Halle Airport is available on request. Free private parking is provided by the property. Kindly note that our restaurant is currently only open for group inquiries from 16 people and requires a written reservation at least 72 days in advance.

Not only is it a hotel, but also an adventure museum! There is an onsite exhibit and a church you can explore and also a whole wooded area just outside for hiking!
Most of the rooms were great. One was tilted. This is understandable in such an old dwelling.
Very nice. Forrest next to it is perfect for morning walking.
Very good experience staying there at historical castle with a lot of beatiful landscapes, good facilities, clean rooms and nice breakfast with nice people and very wise and smart owner!
This is not a 4-star hotel, it is to large extent simple in its rooms and facilities but a place with amazing history from about 1000 A.D. to East German times. If you enjoy remarkable places but do not require polished 3-star (or above) conditions, this place might amaze you. I would have loved to roam the castle buildings as a kid. Note: No lifts in the castle, you need to be able to use staircases.
