Schroeders Stadtwaldhotel, Трир, Германия

This hotel is just outside the town of Trier on a wooded hill and it will remind experienced travelers of the classic small German hotels of the past. It has been several years since our last stay here, and in the interim, the hotel has undergone a major renovation. Strengths of this hotel: location, staff, breakfasts, rooms, beds and opening windows. The elevator is also very efficient and effective. Parking is readily available and the hotel is only ten minutes away from old town.

A nice and calm hotel. Great staff, very friendly. The breakfast was good, as expected. We also decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and we didn't regret it, because it was excellent.
