Located on the Beetszee with its extensive lawns, mature trees, and its own small beach and Swans, it’s peaceful and calm. It was perfectly located for my participation in the Worlds Masters Rowing races on the same lake. It is located at one end of the 2 km rowing course just away from the hustle and bustle of the regatta. The food is served buffet style, breakfast and dinner, and is very reasonably priced. Some of the dinner dishes -which changed nightly- reminded me of my German-American grandmother’s cooking. The whole presentation is a lot like an Iowa church supper with generous portions of wholesome delicious food for canoeists, bikers and walkers.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. It would be fine if there is kettle or coffee machine in the room. You need to walk around 20-30 minutes if you use bus. You are better if you go there by bicycle or car
We stayed at the hotel because it was close to an event at the lake. The hotel is nicely presented and the room and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was included and there is ample parking.
Nice outlook onto the lake, approx 5km to town and cafes. Very attentive staff we were well looked after. Buffet breakfast catered for all.
