My wife and I stayed here for New Year's Eve; our tradition is to go for a hike every new year. I was given the warmest welcome by Frau Anja upon arrival. Pension Hocheck is a small and quaint place to stay where everyone is tight-knit. They had a pre-fixe menu for the New Year celebration, with automatic reservations for pension guests, and the food was great! There is access to many great hiking trails within walking distance of the pension. Pension Hocheck is very close to Berchtesgaden and all other Sees or attractions. Highly Recommend!
Richard and staff were amazing! They treated us like family and made sure our stay was perfect. The breakfast was our favorite of our two week trip in Germany. Highly recommend for a quiet local feel away from the hustle and bustle.
