Because we had to move rooms, and there was a downgrade, staff comped us breakfast for our stay. The breakfasts were magnificent! Made to order Benedicts and omelettes, a wide array of choices for every breakfast taste, and a cheery, bright dining room. The room we downgraded to was not at all noisy. We discovered shower heads on wands. These aren't common in America but they should be. Staff made Berlin much easier for us: they sold us transit day passes and added the costs to the tab. My wife got daily mochas at the bar in the morning (the coffee machine couldn't make them). Breakfast also had carrot juice shots. I have gone on and on - breakfasts were really that good. Had we stayed longer we surely would have taken advantage of the spa deck and exercise room. Modern ambiance coupled with old-world manners (a good thing!). Oh, we had dinner there as well - the dining room really transforms at night. My wife's trout was stellar. My pasta with truffle sauce was only so-so.

• Location: Very convenient, with a bakery and store just a few minutes' walk away.
• Transport: The tram stop is also a short walk away, making the city easily accessible via public transport.
• Parking: On-site parking is available for €25 per day.
We really enjoyed the breakfast area and the overall vibe of the hotel room.
Amazing interior, very easy to find, exactly as in the pictures. Friendly staff, very spacious room with a super comfortable bed.
