Quiet area, nice garden to relax in. Very kind host and neighbors.
The host was amazing! The property met our expectations (although I did not initially clearly understand on which street to park the car and got stuck with the car on the tiny street leading up to the property). The host was really caring and friendly. The property although next to the school, was quiet and out of touristic rush - I could enjoy morning in the garden, reading books etc.
Also getting to airport was easy - walking distance.
This certainly isn't most luxurious asset in Corfu, but it is as charming as it gets. Located in friendly neighborhood where everybody greets you with a big smile, it will make you feel like a local who knows how to enjoy every moment of sunny days and warm nights on this heavenly island. For breakfast, we received freshly picked fruit, vegetables and even eggs laid by the very own chickens in the garden. 10 stars for Mr Akis, his house and garden! Authentic Greece and Greek hospitality at its best!
The check in can be autonomous, we just got the keys from a smart lock (with a code combination). The service is 11/10 , Akis was very nice, even drove us to the bus station. It's not fancy, but it definitely has its charm and everything you might need.
Very close to airport (we stayed the night before our flight) it is a 10 minute walk to airport.
Akis takes care of his clients and equipped the apartment before our arrival, there were waters for us as well as fresh fruit (peaches, nectarines). Soaps and detergents were provided as well.
The host also gave us good advice on how to get to the airport and made sure everything was good for us
