What a fabulous find in the heart of Chania! This apartment is in an ideal location, walking distance to the old town, but with very little traffic noise. It is very well set up with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outside patio area is also lovely, and not what you'd usually find in an apartment building.
We travelled to the apartment from the airport by bus (the city bus station is very close), and we were usually able to park our car close by - but sometimes a bit further away.
As other reviewers have mentioned the bed mattress is quite firm, but I prefer this - it is better than the mattress being too soft.
We loved our stay in Chania, and would have no hesitation in recommending Stylianos's apartment.
The apartment is located right in the center of town, 3 minutes away from the main bus station and a few minutes walk from the old town.
It was huge, and the space is more than enough for 2 people. Price is very reasonable too. I loved everything about it and you can park along the street for free!
Location and the host are great. The place was very clean, secure, contemporary furnished&stocked, with large quiet terrace. The host is outstanding, respectful, even though we didn’t get to meet him, he is not only hospitable, but had left gifts for us and brought more in the middle and at the end of our week-long stay, answers msgs quickly, goes above and beyond to find answers to questions of all kinds - about local transport, attractions, produce markets, etc. The place was very well stocked with everything needed - locally produced condiments, olive oil, produce, same in the bathroom - and quality items too.
This apartment has exceeded our expectations being so close to the bus station (3 minutes) and city center (5 minutes). It also comes with not just one balcony but two being able to be secluded or watch the street below. The owners are very nice and accommodated us for our one year old baby.
The apartment is a block near the center of Chania with all restaurants and attractions in a quiet street. The rooms are large with large balcony at the back. The decor is modern, it was very clean and we wanted for nothing. Contact with the landlord was excellent and he was helpful with information beyond the rental. Finding a parking space is a bit of a challenge, but there is a parking garage nearby.
