Beautifully appointed room, very thoughtful touches everywhere. The bedding was supremely comfortable. Lighting was excellent and appropriate. The kitchenette was smart and perfectly outfitted. Loved watching the sunset over the mountains from our covered porch. The cleanliness was unsurpassed. A laundry facility was available for no charge. Our host was most generous with special treats in the room. The taverna which they operated on the property offered delicious, honest Cretan cuisine with large portions and small prices. A gratis dessert and raki finished every meal. Maria and Kostas were the warmest and most generous on-site hosts we have ever encountered, anywhere.
Kostas and Maria were excellent hosts and the Dimitra apartment and our whole experience was probably the best we’ve ever had in Crete. The apartments are very modern, tastefully designed and well equipped. Our hosts provided a very generous welcome pack including fruit, wine, raki, water, fruit juice and chocolate cake. Very nice! Breakfast in the adjacent taverna was really good, as was dinner. We were made so welcome and made to feel very much at home. Kostas and Maria encouraged us to take part with them in some village activities whilst we were there, and it was a fabulous inclusive experience for us.
Twee weken heb ik bij deze geweldige plek mogen logeren en daar had ik geen spijt van.Misschien wel spijt, omdat ik liever nog wat langer had willen blijven.Het is een fantastische locatie en de kamer was mooier dan op de foto's,super schoon en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Het bijbehorende restaurant mag je niet overslaan.Maria maakt geweldige lekkere maaltijden op de echte Griekse manier waar je je vingers bij op eet.En dat niet alleen,ze is samen met Kostas heel behulpzaam met advies en raad als je dat nodig hebt.
Ik beveel dit aan iedereen aan die de rust zoekt en de ontspanning,ik weet geen beter plek ook al kom ik inmiddels 40 jaar op Kreta.
Maria en Kostas...nogmaals, heel erg bedankt voor alles!

Ystävälliset ja hyvin kohteeliat omistajat. Mukava yllätys huoneessa: kakku, hedelmiä , vettä, mehu, raki, viini, kreikkalaiset herkut. Erittäin hyvin varustettu keittiö. Käytössä on myös pesukone. Erittäin siisti huoneisto, hiljainen ilmastointi. Tavernan ruoka on super maukas. Hyvä, runsas ja erittäin maukas aamiainen.
Varmasti palaamme takaisin.
