Perfect location in the mountains, nice swimming pool and great restaurant with local products.

The location of the hotel, the calming surroundings, the excellent food made our stay of three nights perfect. We’ve enjoyed a lot our stay at Arabanes. But what makes it really special are its owners eho are kind, generous and very welcoming. We’ll be back, thanks for everything.
What a find, away from the Hustle & Bustle of the City & Coastal Communities. Peace & Tranquility is what i found in Aravanes Thronos. Fresh Mountain air, the room was exceptional, comfortable bed, lovely hosts, lovely homemade food what more can I say..come & stay.
The place is so beautiful and peaceful. The room was so lovely and the few breath taking. It is really a special place and I'll definitely come back there.
Everything about Aravanes is superb. It always was, in a different way when Lampros and Maria ran it, but Eleftheria's deft hand has worked a sequence of stunning changes. The rooms, once upmarket rent rooms, are now top quality hotel rooms with wonderful features. Balconies offer stunning mountain views into the Amari, with Psiloritis and Kedros towering on either side and Samitos to the south. The cuisine remains authentically Cretan for the most part, but with one or two nods to wider Greek cuisine e.g. moussaka, which would not have seen the light of day under Lampros - "too many flavours."
