The place was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Our host gave us the courtesy of an early arrival of an hour and was very good with communicating about check-in. The host gave us lots of extra cream and coffee on request and a complimentary ouzo night cap! The view of the town below and coffee on the balcony in the morning was something from a magazine. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!
Loved the room--especially the balcony. Also the kindness of the host and the excellence of the breakfast. Plus we loved Stemnitsa itself, including the taverna on the square that the host recommended for our dinners--not to mention the Menalon Trail and the beautiful hike to the nearby monastery!
I enjoyed the comfortable cozy room & a good breakfast. It was very quiet = good for sleeping.
In the morning, I sat at the terrace in the back to enjoy fresh air and listen to birdsong. . No one was speaking English well, but a translation app made communication possible with no problems.
Amazing! Everything was amazing from the spacious room with a sitting area and even a wood burning fireplace to an outside deck.
Panosh gave us a supremely warm welcome, and we enjoyed our stay in Stemnitsa very much. The room was comfortable and located about a 7-minute walk from the center. Breakfast was generous and tasty.
