Great value for money hotel.
Easy to locate the hotel as we had follow the provided directions. Park in the main square 150 meters away.
Very clean, fresh, huge size suite, with everything that we might need (laptop, Jacuzzi bathtub, hangers, linens, bathrobes, Netflix tv, WiFi with high speed, coffee machine, kettle, fully equipped kitchen).
Bed was so comfortable that we had slept so nice and calm.
Personnel is very friendly and polite, they had take great care of us, with a warm welcome and providing us with many details for the area. They even had treat us a with a small bottle of wine and fruits !!!
Pool and walled garden is just a gem !!! So calm and relaxing in this 'hidden" green oasis.
Location is amazing as you are very close to every location / attraction in Crete:
- 25 minutes drive to Rethymno
- 60 minutes drive to Chania
- 50 minutes drive to Plakias and south beach
We would return back for sure.

Absolutely amazing property, our favorite place we stayed in all of Greece
A sense of quiet contemplation in the outdoor areas, a pool to cool off in and daybed lounges to read in the shade. Apartments were individual and unexpected in layout. It was great to find such historic buildings to stay in. Nearby taverna was a very good one with fine home-cooked dishes
I am slightly conflicted in writing this review. This beautiful village gains its attraction in part because it is not very well known and because it retains the spirit of a mountain village in central Crete from an earlier age. And long may that last.
However, in honesty I must also say that this accommodation in the centre of the village is a remarkable place - our suite was so beautiful and well equipped, and the garden so well cared for. The pool is really lovely. We had a jacuzzi in our bedroom but there is also a lovely comfortable lounge and kitchen. This genuinely a really beautiful place.
