The location was excellent for people with a car. Just a bit away from the bigger towns and close walking distance from a nice not too crowded beach. Also even closer walking distance to a very popular (crowded) small beach with caves. The facilities were very nice and exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfortable. The 2 staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good enough for my wife and I. By car it only took 5 minutes to drive to Pollonia and about 10 to either Plaka or Adamantas.
We loved the hotel! Our room was very cute and comfortable , would come here again:)
The rooms were very lovely especially with the beautiful sea views, and sea breezes. The place was perfectly appointed, including a very comfortable bed. The manager Ilias went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The hotel is situated very near some of the best beaches in Milos. I’d definitely return.
Location can't be beat -- Avra Pahainas is away from the annoying and cramped tourist hubbub in Adamantas and Pollonia. You definitely need a car to stay here, but it's so worth it. We came for our honeymoon and it was so romantic and secluded. Staff was kind, rooms were clean and spacious (we had two separate private terraces), and daily breakfast was delicious. The winds on the north side of the island are quite strong, but we really loved how it never felt too hot in/around our apartment.
Extremely kind and attentive people - they are very easy to work with and will make sure you have a great stay! The breakfast is a filling, healthy spread and good way to fill up before the day. The views from the rooms are exceptional and it is very quite and calm.
