A very welcoming family-owned location, with a very friendly host. We had a great time with our family.
The 'presidential suite' is split on two floors, with the first floor covering a large living room, two bathrooms and one bedroom. Upstairs are two further rooms and a bathroom. A large balcony gives a lot of space for quiet evenings.
Kantia / Candia is a small peaceful village and the hotel is right at the beach, with a few bars/restaurants right there.
The location was excellent for roaming around ancient places...if you love history and ancient places then this place is excellent! Athen is 2 hours Corinth is 1 hour away and in between many museums and places to visit... we came with the car so we had flexibility. We visited many places including a volcano that was 1.5 away from this property.
Thank you for the host and staff for everything! I really recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay near-by...
The pool is lovely and the grounds are well kept. Breakfast was good.
Attractive property on the beach with a very nice pool and friendly staff
The rooms are clean, spacious and cleaned daily. The pool is big, clean, refreshing and well equipped with inflatables. The staff are very warm, welcoming and friendly. We had a problem with our car after we left the property, we needed assistance and Bianca was on the phone helping us without any hesitation. We would definitely love to return to Candia House one day.
