Great location nestled in the countryside. Responsive host. They even left us eggs and oranges for breakfast! Very welcoming countryside vibe. Would recommend in a heartbeat. There's also a VERY friendly cat. He greeted us upon our arrival and was waiting behind the door every time we opened it. As cat lovers, it was great!

The perfect place to relax. The village! Roosters wake you up, sheep bleat in the distance. And oranges and lemons fall on the street :-). If you are looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the big resort, city or just to enjoy the simple things, this is the place! The village is a starting point for many destinations. Almost all important destinations in the Chania region are within an hour or two from the village. There are 2 taverns and Manusakis Winery, where you can taste local wines and delicacies. Cretan cheeses are very unique. Or if you like to prepare sometime the food by yourself, no problem. This is the best equipped kitchen of all the properties I have visited in Greece so far! It has everything. I can write a lot but..best to go and see for yourself. Special thanks to Manoulis and Marina who took care of us like their own children :-) Ευχαριστώ πολύ

Nice and cozy place, the house has everything you need for a confortable stay. Air conditioning and WiFi were perfect, the patio outside is really nice to enjoy a morning coffee or chill at the end of the day. The host is very friendly and the communication was quite easy.

This is really nice private accommodation. We have spent several nights before in a big hotel in a tourist area so this was really nice change - a small house only for two people and no tourists in the village (except us, of course). The owner prepared the house really nicely and we found fresh eggs, avocados and oranges when we arrived.

What captured me most during our stay was the quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the wonderful aroma of the oils from the orange trees growing nearby and the lemon tree on our terrace (!), Beautiful roses in wonderful stone pots and a bouquet of kali on the terrace table. Plus the very kind Petroula and wonderful neighbors Marina, her husband (giving us fresh oranges - so sweet) and Desma, who runs a traditional weaving workshop (which she showed us around), a mobile store with bread, tomatoes, cheeses.... All of this ensured that my daughter and I had an excellent stay at Casa Bellissima - thank you!
