A beautiful view from the room and balcony. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and exceptionally clean with rooms serviced 6 days a week. Opposite the beach and a short walk to main street, shops and tavernas etc. Plakias is much quieter than the busy resorts in the north or Crete but welcomes tourists. There are plenty of tavernas, restaurants, cafes and shops and people are very friendly.

The room was large, very comfortable bed and balcony with amazing sea views. The evenings with cold drinks on balcony were magical. Small kitchenette in the room was useful. The location also good in calmer part of Plakias. Around 8 min walk from bus station.The beach close to hotel is not the best for swimming (lots of stones) but within a minutes of walk you can reach amazing Plakias beach with beach bars (reasonable prices and good food). It was a comfortable stay because of amazing balcony and cleanness.

There was a stunning view from our room. The room was spacious and comfortable. Situated just a 5 minute walk from the main bars and restaurants but it was quiet. Maria, Ena and Lina were all friendly and professional, lovely staff members.

Spectacular sea view from the balcony. Great location on the quite, western side of Plakias but only walking distance to nearby tavernas and shops. The room was cleaned regurarly and breakfast was served daily. Rooms were good size and beds very comfortable. The owner Mr Giorgos and the lady at reception Ms Maria made sure that we had an unforgettable time at Creta Mare Hotel. We will return for sure.

The room was spacious and spotless with a huge and very confortable bed, very clean big bathroom , small kitchen with everthing what you need if you want to do something to eat in your room and a large balcony with a beautiful sea view. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.
