The location is perfect. Therefore Evanthia "best view". It's not crowded place compare to other island Oia and Fira. Peaceful indeed! Our first room was having an air-condition issue and the staff directly moved us to another room. The staff are friendly.
The sunset in Thirassia is very wonderful try to watch it near the blue dome. Thirassia is also perfect for hiking or e-bike you can go to mountain top "Koimisi".
There are restaurants nearby with reasonable prices open from lunch time - midnight. There is also restaurant down the hill (staircase) but usually they are open around 14:00 - 16:00 and also a little supermarket just walking distance.
As for me and my husband we enjoyed our stay aside from transportation issue.
The staff is friendly and the room is clean and the island is so calm
The view, the food, the price, the seclusiveness, and it doesn't feel touristy like Santorini. Maria is excellent at making your stay welcome, and you'll always have everything you need. One of our favorite spots during our 12 day honeymoon in Greece.
The view from the terrace was magical, you open the room’s door and you have the caldera in front of view (the hotel is sited up on a high hill). If you are looking for a quiet stay this is the right spot (there are around 300 people that live on the island).
The view was wonderful. The facilities inside and outside were great.
