Brilliant location, but don't trust google maps to get you there - between Agios Nikolaos and Sandali it led us into a dead end no less than three times.
I think it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say this was the most beautiful place on earth. The village is tucked away high in the mountains (although easy to find - Waze took us straight there, and in addition there are very clear signs to the house in the last couple of kilometres to it). It is incredibly quiet and secluded and has the most breathtaking views, and it is a very comfortable and well-equipped little house with a picturesque terrace outside where you can sit and have your dinner or just a drink and watch the sunset (it is west-facing). Absolutely unbeatable, and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer than 3 days. However, we shall remedy that omission by going back!
We loved the place. You think ur getting the apartment but you ashly getting the whole village. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but for us was perfect. There are not shops or taverns in the village (there is nothing in the village)

La casa e' in un piccolo villaggio a 15 minuti da Sitia, molto suggestivo, l'host molto accogliente e ci ha anche salutato con una grigliata di carne che abbiamo condiviso nel patio. Nella casa c'e davvero tutto.
