The location was exactly what I was looking for: not far from the Acropolis, but in a Greek neighborhood with local cafes, bakeries, and other local shops. It was quiet, clean, and close, not in, the tourist scene.

Loved it. Host (Markos) ensured a smooth arrival and ease of 'settling in'. We really appreciated being far from the maddening crowd and yet close to everything. Go figure! We were 'tipped' some outstanding local restaurants and enjoyed a pleasant conversation (and olives and cheese) of the nearby small shop owner - and her husband. Great place to stay in Athens. Thanks Markos.

Perfect location. Close to public transport, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. We went out, locally, every evening and felt completely safe walking back. Most Greeks speak some English and were very friendly and always helpful when needed.
