Good breakfast with fresh bread, super central location in the old town, amazing service by Nikos and great prices.
The location is the highlight. Breakfast is excellent. The building is beautiful in the reception and meals area. We loves the outdoor garden with a surpising amount of greenery We had to climb 2 flights of stairs with luggage which was difficult, especially the second one which was narrower. The room itself was clean, serviceable. The 2 single beds were in a loft with a narrow stairs case with very little room other than the beds and walkway. If you have 4 people and pieces of luggage it makes it difficult. The bathroom is clean but the shower head is pitiful.
Maria was incredibly kind and helpful. Her dinner recommendation (Avli and Raki Baraki) were perfect. The breakfast went on and on, served in small portions but several ‘courses’ - Anna was so sweet. Just off the main 4 Martyrs Square where the beautiful cathedral is - and super quiet. Immediate access to Old Town without the noise and crowd of tourists and party-ers.
It is such an unusual property! I wish I had more time to enjoy it and savior all the details! Church bells are also very nice touch!
